FONT OF CHOICE: I used Baroque Script.

I used Photoshop for this tut.
♥♥♥♥♥♥♥
In this tut we'll make several layers sparkle.
If you don't wish to animate, just skip the steps marked *BLUE*
Use my tag as a guide for placement of elements.

Open a canvas 800x800 pixels.
Transparent background.
If you are animating,
Flood fill with the color of your choice.

Open your tube.
Center on canvas.
Duplicate this layer.
Resize duplicated layer to 15%.
Hide duplicated layer for now.

Open element 18.
Center this over your tube.

Grab a soft edged eraser.
Highlight your tube layer.
Erase the tube that shows outside the curtain.

With the tube layer still highlighted,
Go to the upper left corner of your Layer Palette.
Click the down arrow next to the word Normal.
Click Luminosity.
Leave Opacity at 100%.
Duplicate this layer.
Go back up to the down arrow.
Click it.
Now find Screen in the drop down menu.
Click that.
Leave the Opacity at 100%.

Open element 30.
Resize to 40%.
Place this on top of element 18.
Center.
Now we'll fill in the stars.

Open paper 02.
Place behind element 30.
*Highlight element 30 layer.
Grab your Magic Wand.
Hold down the Shift key on your keyboard.
Click inside two of the stars.
Let go of the Shift key.
Now highlight paper 02 layer.
Go to Select in your tool bar at the top of your screen.
Click it.
In the drop down menu,
Click Inverse.
Hit the Delete key on your keyboard.
Go back to Select.
Click Deselect.*
Now you will have two of your stars filled.

Open paper 03.
Place behind element 30.
Repeat these steps * above with paper 03 layer.
Now all your stars are filled.

These are the other elements I used:
element 17, resize to 65%
element 40
element 29, resize to 20%
Duplicate this layer.
element 8, resize to 15%
element 1, resize to 40%

element 37, resize to 15%
element 38, resize to 20%
element 14 glitterframeoverlay

element 13, resize to 65%
Duplicate this layer.

Now unhide your duplicated tube
that you resized to 15%.
Move this tube layer to the top of your taggie.
Position to your liking.

Click Layer Style.
Click Outer Glow.
Use these settings:

With this layer still highlighted,
Right click.
In the pop up menu
Click Copy Layer Style.
Highlight element 29 second layer.
Right click.
Select Paste Layer Style.

Place a drop shadow on all your layers except:
tube layers in center of tag
element 18
paper layers
element 17
element 29
element 14
element 13
Resize the siggy to your liking.

Make a new layer.
Type your name on the taggie.

In the pop up menu,
Click Rasterize Layer.
Repeat the steps to Add Noise
to both name layers.
First layer: Amount 15%
Second layer: Amount 19%
Use Uniform & Monochromatic.

Now place Stroke & Drop Shadow to your name.
Stroke, Outside, 2, White
I also used:
Drop Shadow

Make sure to do this to both name layers
if you are animating.

MOST IMPORTANT!!
You must now do this:
Put the artist's name, website, and your license number
of the tube you used on the siggy!!
Add your name (ie: Designed by Your Name) behind this info.
Make sure this info is legible and clearly seen.

If you don't want to animate, Save as PNG.
YOU'RE DONE!!
(If you want to maintain your layers
Always Save as PSD first.
Then you can save it as a PNG.

**TO ANIMATE**
In the Layer Palette,
Hide the second layers of:
element 29
element 14
element 13
Name layer

Open the Animation Window.
Set the time for .2
Show all the rest of the layers in the first frame.
Click the square button, next to the trash can,
in the animation window.
This will duplicate the first animation frame.

Highlight the second animation frame.
Go over to your Layer Palette.
Leave everything as is except:
Hide the first layers of:
element 29
element 14
element 13
Name layer
Unhide the second layers.

Now go back to your animation window.

Click Play.
If you like what you see...

Save as PSD. Then Save for Web & Devises.

YOU'RE DONE!
I hope you had fun with this tut
and that you can use the different techniques
in other taggies you create!
HUGS!

♥Tribute to Rieka♥

To honor Rieka and all she has blessed me with, I will be leaving all my tuts that I have written with her kits on my blog. They are not coming down. Even though her kits are no longer available, the tuts I wrote using them are my tribute to her. Hopefully, they will inspire you the way Rieka inspired me. Love You, Rieka! You'll be forever in my heart.♥

Hi Ya'll! I'm Savage and I'd like to welcome you to Redneck Tuts. These are not your ordinary tuts, as they are geared toward those of us that don't have "working knowledge" of Photoshop or PSP. My tuts are all done in PS. They are designed to show you different techniques that you may not know. I hope you learn something that you can use in your creations in the future. Please, just have fun and put your own spin on these tuts. Be original and shine! Love Ya! ♥
